Whitesnape Spinning Mill, Milnrow
August 2019
This project consisted of the demolition of a former spinning mill in Milnrow near Oldham. The client on this project was Story Homes, it took place over the course of 8 weeks. The bulk of the stone used in the mill was sold for re-use around West Yorkshire and all scrap metal was recycled. The project consisted of first removed all asbestos that was present in the mill at the time our 28m high reach and 21 ton excavators then got to work pulling the structure down to the ground making way for a brownfield site for new homes.
Lambert House, Huddersfield
May 2022
Calderdale Demolition were called in to strip out a redundant office block in Huddersfield. The building was formally used by the AA as on of there regional offices. The strip out was over 4 floors with an addtional plant room in the roof space of the building. The project was completed in 6 weeks start to finish.
Calderbank Mill, Brighouse
April 2023
This mill was a combination of asbestos removal and demolition. As the roof was asbestos cement sheets we had to incorporate a wet and drop method for safe removal as the building was structually unsafe. Once the asbestos had been removed off site the demolition could commence. The demolition took 3 weeks from start to finish and all salvage was saved and sold for re-use.

This 'eye-sore' mill was demolished back in 2018. The site was regarded as a 'venus fly trap' for nuisance and anti social behaviour. This project took 12 weeks from start to finish. The mill was constructed out of Accrington brick which were palleted and sold on for re-use with the remaining hardcore crushed and left on site.
